We are pleased to announce that a revision to ICC ESR 2017 has been published and is now available on the ICC website – www .icc-es.org – providing evidence that Structa Wire products fully meet ICC code requirements.

All Structa Wire Products are now evaluated under ESR 2017, and as such fully conform to the requirements for stucco reinforcing as defined in UBC, IBC and IRC building codes. ICC-ES thoroughly examined Structa Wire’s product information, test reports, calculations, quality control methods and other factors to ensure the products are code compliant.

The revision to ICC 2017 – dated October 1st, 2008 provides for the use of Structa products in place of Metal Lath. The alternate status is good news for the stucco contractor because there are substantial savings in both labor and material costs when substituting Structa for traditional sheet lath products.

STRUCTALATH

Recognized alternative to 1.4 lb/yd2 welded wire lath in ASTM C 933

STRUCTALATH TWIN TRAC

Recognized alternative to 2.5 lb/yd2 diamond mesh metal lath in ASTM C 847

MEGA LATH

Recognized alternative to 3.4 lb/yd2 diamond mesh metal lath in ASTM C 847

STRUCTA RIB LATH – V TRUSS WALLS & CEILINGS LATH

Recognized as alternative to 3.4 Rib Lath

Structa Wire can now reference the ESR 2017 report to ensure building officials and the building industry that the evaluated products meet I-Code requirements.
